ingredients

There's a lot crammed into every sachet of JOSHUA, which is formulated using ingredients to activate your system and stimulate your senses. Check it out:

Royal Jelly is a natural substance produced by honeybees and prized for its medicinal properties and its health benefits to humans. Royal Jelly is added as a moisturising agent to cosmetics, skin and hair care products.

Evidence indicates that this substance increases energy, alleviates anxiety, sleeplessness, moodiness, memory loss, and bolsters the immune system.

It's called royal jelly because when supplied to bee larvae, in large quantities, they become queen bees. It's high in B vitamins and contains all the essential amino acids, unsaturated fats, natural sugars, and minerals such as iron, calcium, silicon, sulphur, and potassium, to aid in the development of young bees.

Ginseng is valued for its medicinal properties and is one of the herbal supplements known as an adaptogen. Adaptogens help the body adapt to higher levels of stress. It's used to improve performance, boost energy levels, enhance memory, and stimulate the immune system. Ginseng may also help with increasing one's endurance, and speed recovery after illness.

Taurine is an amino acid, and is used by our bodies as a metabolic transmitter. It has a detoxifying effect and strengthens cardiac functions. At times of extreme physical exertion, the body no longer produces the required amounts of taurine, resulting in a relative deficiency. Supplementation with taurine, has been shown to prevent oxidative stress induced by exercise.

Taurine also acts as an antioxidant and protects against toxicity of various substances such as lead.

It's a botanical extract, that revitalises, tones and puts elasticity into the skin. It's also thought to provide strength and sexual energy.

Caffeine is a natural stimulant found in the leaves and seeds of many plants. Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system, causing increased alertness. It gives most people a temporary energy boost and elevates mood. The caffeine in Extra Joss is natural. It is extracted from coffee beans grown in Indonesia.

Thiamin, also known as Vitamin B1, aids digestion of starches and other carbohydrates. It is helpful in reducing stress and boosting energy. Promotes growth and good muscle tone.

Riboflavin, also known as Vitamin B2, helps red blood cell and antibody production; promotes the release of energy from foods; is important for the metabolism of fat and carbohydrate and is essential in nervous system function. Supports normal vision and skin health.

Niacin, also known as Vitamin B3, is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins and important in all steps essential for energy production and utilization, tissue and organ function. It improves circulation and reduces the cholesterol level in the blood.

Inositol is a nutrient that helps prevent the accumulation of fat in the liver; aids in the detoxification of metabolic wastes and toxins.

Vitamin B6, also known as Pyridoxine, takes part in many enzyme reactions and is particularly important for brain and nervous system functions, and is important for protein metabolism.

Vitamin B12, also known as Cobalamin, plays a key role in normal brain and nervous system function and the production of blood cells. Deficiency of Vitamin B12 can be found in older people and vegetarians and can lead to anaemia.

Pantonthenic Acid, also known as Vitamin B5, is a kind of anti-stress-vitamin, it contributes to the production of cortisone and protects against infectious diseases. It is successfully used to prevent arthritis, prevent tiredness, insomnia, headaches and depression.
